asked the Lord Advocate when he intends to introduce a Bill to give effect to the recommendations of the Commission on Minor Legal Appointments in Scotland?

I am not yet in. a position to make any statement with regard to the matter referred to by my hon. Friend.

When will the right hon. Gentleman expect to be in a position to do so?

Mr. URE

In six months.

Will the right hon. Gentleman inquire into the subject to see how much of it can be dealt with by administration, and, if he has done so, will he say what is the result?
