HC Deb 12 March 1912 vol 35 c960
Mr. FREDERICK WHYTE

asked whether the Committee of Inquiry into the remuneration of Post Office servants has been appointed; and, if so, whether any member of it has first-hand knowledge of Scottish conditions?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. When the members of the Committee are selected, no doubt due weight will be given to the desirability of a proper representation of Scotland.
