HC Deb 12 March 1912 vol 35 c954
Mr. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he has decided or given instructions to the Insurance Commissioners to decide to issue regulations including in the compulsory Clauses of the National Insurance Act married women outworkers; and whether any alteration is intended to be made in the rate of contributions and benefits payable by and to them?

Mr. MASTERMAN

No such decision has been made or instructions given. The whole question of the outworkers is being considered by an independent Committee, whose Report will be considered before any regulations or orders are framed.
