§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. J. a Pease)With regard to the non-provided schools the only information in the possession of the Board is recorded in a Return, No. 178, to the Order of the House of Commons, dated 23rd February, 1906, which was subsequently reprinted and published by the Board in 1907 as List 32. No rent is payable in respect of such schools out of public funds. With regard to provided schools the Board are not in possession of the information to enable them to answer the question. The information could only be obtained by asking for a Return from the various local education authorities.
