asked whether any steps will be taken this Session to carry out the recommendations of the Departmental Committee with reference to fiars prices?

I fully recognise the importance of the subject referred to by my hon. Friend, but regret that I cannot at present give any undertaking as to legislation this Session.

Captain WARING

May I ask whether the right hon. Gentleman is aware that his predecessor had this question, under consideration for eighteen months, and whether we shall have to wait another eighteen months for legislation?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

Yes, Sir, I am aware of the fact.

As the question is important, will the right hon. Gentleman say what fiars prices are?

Mr. WATT

Will the right hon. Gentleman say if any complaint has been made to his Department on this matter?
