HC Deb 19 June 1912 vol 39 c1676
21. Mr. ALDEN

asked whether the hon. Gentleman can see his way to provide storage accommodation for cycles in the Royal Parks, more especially in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens?

Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN

The First Commissioner does not think that the provision of cycle shelters in the Royal Parks is generally required. Certain facilities already exist, and to add materially to them would involve the erection of new buildings at a time when every endeavour is being made to preserve the rural character of the parks.
