HC Deb 18 June 1912 vol 39 cc1499-500
70. Mr. MacVEAGH

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has yet decided what deductions will be made from the Grant to the London and North-Western Railway Company on account of the recent delays in the conveyance of mails between Euston and Holyhead?

Captain NORTON

No, Sir. I am still in communication with the company on the subject.

Mr. MacVEAGH

In arriving at a decision will due regard be had to the fact that the London and North-Western Railway is being allowed to use Kingstown Royal Harbour for nominal rates?

Captain NORTON

Yes.
