49. Major MORRISON-BELLasked the Prime Minister if he can lay upon the Table of the House a Return showing the figures on which Parts I. and II. of the First Schedule [Constitution of Irish House of Commons] to the Government of Ireland Bill are calculated?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe figures on which Parts I. and II. of the Schedule are based are those contained in the Preliminary Report of the Census of Ireland for 1911, which was presented to Parliament last year.
§ The PRIME MINISTERI believe they require a certain amount of addition and subtraction, but all the materials are there.
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe hon. Member can arrive at them by a process of arithmetic. All the materials are there. I hardly think that it will be necessary to have a special statement on the subject.
