HC Deb 13 June 1912 vol 39 c1022
1. Mr. NOEL BUXTON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can give any reassuring news with regard to the rising in Albania?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir Edward Grey)

The latest reports are somewhat contradictory, and it is impossible for me to hazard any opinion as to the course which events will take. It is clear that serious local disturbances have occurred, but it is doubtful, so far as I am informed at present, whether these events would justify the conclusion that a general rising is to be feared.
