§ The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)The personal attendance of sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses at scale payment sub-offices like Weyhill depends entirely upon the amount of assistance they are able to employ. Attendance for official business by the sub-postmistress or an assistant has to be given at the Weyhill sub-office from 5.40 a.m. to 6.0 a.m., and 7.45 a.m. to 8.0 p.m. on week days, and from 5.40 a.m. to 6.0 a.m., 7.40 a.m. to 10.0 a.m., and 128 11.45 a.m. to noon on Sundays. The hours during which the office is open to the public are not in contravention of any recommendation of the Hobhouse Committee.
