HC Deb 04 June 1912 vol 39 cc14-5
27. Mr. LANSBURY

asked the President of the Local Government Board if the Government have yet come to a decision regarding the case of those persons who will be disfranchised as a result of receiving poor relief in consequence of the dislocation arising out of the recent coal strike; and, if so, will he state the nature of the decision?

The PRESIDENT of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. Burns)

I can only say at present that the matter is still under the consideration of the Government.

Mr. LANSBURY

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the latest day for making claims to be put on the register is 20th August, and that is getting rather near?
