HC Deb 25 July 1912 vol 41 c1333
27. Mr. HORNER

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, having regard to the number of boarded-out children under the boards of guardians in Ireland, and the fact of their residences being so widely scattered all over the country that it is impossible for the two lady inspectors to visit them except at very long intervals, he will recommend the appointment of at least one more lady inspector?

Mr. BIRRELL

As already stated, it is not proposed to increase the number of lady inspectors.
