HC Deb 22 July 1912 vol 41 c793
86. Mr. MOLTENO

asked the Postmaster-General if he can state whether new arrangements have been made for the conveyance of mails to South Africa after the termination of the present contract on 30th September; and if he can state the principal changes, if any, which have been made?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)

The negotiations relating to the new contract for the Anglo South African mail service are still not complete, but I hope that a settlement will be reached very shortly. Its terms will be announced as soon as possible.
