asked the Prime Minister the relationship of the Committee appointed by the Welsh parliamentary party to the Committee of Inquiry over which Mr. Arthur Acland is presiding; and whether it is proposed to set up a committee to deal with Scotland?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

I have no knowledge of this Committee nor of their relationship, if any, to the Committee of Inquiry referred to. I am not aware of any proposal to set up a Committee to deal with Scotland.
