HC Deb 22 July 1912 vol 41 c778
14. Mr. C. BATHURST

asked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether, in view of the fact that the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, is situate less than two miles from the boundary of Wiltshire, and that it is a journey of several hours from most parts of the latter county into Berkshire, and of less than half an hour from its western part to Bristol University, he will refrain from making Reading the collegiate centre for the purposes of higher agricultural education in Wiltshire?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I hope to meet and confer with representatives of Wiltshire at Bristol on Thursday, the 25th instant, with a view to ascertain their wishes in the matter.
