§ Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN (Lord of the Treasury)In sanctioning the subletting of a small portion of the marble work at the British Museum Extension, the Office of Works were influenced principally by the facts that such subletting is customary in the trade, and that the work in question can be executed more conveniently abroad.
