§ Mr. MASTERMANProvincial printing firms are invited to tender for Government work except in the few cases where 662 special circumstances require the work to be done in London. For ordinary work the invitations to tender are issued by way of advertisement in the Press (daily and trade papers), and, in addition, a separate invitation is addressed to every firm on the Stationery Office list of contractors.
