HC Deb 19 July 1912 vol 41 cc678-9
25. Mr. MILDMAY

asked whether, in the event of an employer's household being resident for a portion of the year in Ireland and for a portion in London, contributions in respect of the National Insurance Act will have to be made and prospective benefits be secured on the Irish or on the English scale?

Mr. MASTERMAN

Contributions will be payable at the English rate while in England and at the Irish rate in Ireland. The servants will, unless they receive a money payment instead, be entitled to medical benefit while in England but not in Ireland.
