asked whether the right hon. Gentleman proposes to direct a special investigation into the question of through rail and sea charges, in pursuance of paragraph 122 of the Report of the Departmental Committee on Railway Agreements?

I am not proposing, at any rate at present, to arrange for the investigation referred to.
