asked if he can give the names of the medical members of the Insurance Committee for the County Borough of Stoke-on-Trent, and from whom the nominations came in the several instances?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The only medical practitioner at present appointed to the Insurance Committee of the County Borough of Stoke-on-Trent is Mr. A. R. Moody, M.B., who was appointed by the County Borough Council.

Mr. BOOTH

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware of any demand that these doctors should withdraw or has he heard of any persecution on this question?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I have not heard anything on this subject.
