HC Deb 15 July 1912 vol 41 c29
45. Mr. KING

asked the Prime Minister whether the Special Committee appointed by the Senate of London University to recommend a site has reported; and whether a site on the south bank of the Thames near the new county hall has been considered?

The PRIME MINISTER

The matter is one which rests with the Senate of the University, and I would suggest that my hon. Friend should communicate with that body with a view to obtaining the information he desires.

Mr. KING

Are we to understand that this matter rests entirely with the Senate, and not with the Royal Commission, which has been dealing with the matter?

The PRIME MINISTER

Well, I think so.
