HC Deb 22 February 1912 vol 34 c730
Mr. PIKE PEASE

asked whether any legislation will be introduced this Session to carry out the findings of the recent Poor Law Commission?

Mr. McKENNA

I cannot undertake to promise such legislation this Session. I have already stated that the Government intend to introduce a Bill dealing with the problem of the feeble-minded.

Mr. COOPER

Do the Government really believe that the Poor Law Commission's Report is of less urgency to the working classes of this country than Home Rule?
