HC Deb 22 February 1912 vol 34 cc729-30
Mr. DUNCAN MILLAR

asked the Prime Minister whether the three advisory committees in connection with the appointment of justices of the peace which, in answer to a question on 5th December, 1911, he indicated were about to be appointed by the Lord Chancellor for the county of Lanark, have yet been constituted; and, if not, when the members of these committees will be appointed?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Ure) (for the Prime Minister)

These committees have not yet been appointed, but it is expected that the arrangements will be completed very soon.
