§ Mr. CHURCHILLGermany possesses the following airships: 1 naval, 9 military, 14 private—but of these, 7 are under 3,500 cubic metres volume and are of little value, and one other, the "Suchard," is built for an attempt to cross the Atlantic; £97,847 was voted in the German naval estimates for 1912–13 for airships and experiments with airships; £144,325 is included in the German naval estimates for 1913–14, not yet voted, for aeronautics, aviation, experiments and special allowances.
As to Great Britain, the Royal Flying Corps possesses the following airships:— 254 Military Wing: "Beta," "Gamma," "Delta," and a new "Gamma" under construction, to the cost of which naval funds will contribute half.
