§ The PRIME MINISTERThe non-official character of the Inquiry has been repeatedly insisted on by me in answer to questions, and I cannot doubt that it has 1876 been brought to the notice of all persons concerned. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
§ Mr. LONGIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that notices are being issued by people who describe themselves as acting on behalf of the Government in connection with the Inquiry instituted by the Chancellor of the Exchequer?
