§ Colonel YATEasked whether the Report of the Royal Commission on Food Supply in Time of War had now been considered; and whether it was intended to take any action in the matter?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative. Every aspect of the question of the supply of food in time of war is kept under observation. The Government are prepared to take such action in the event of war, as the exigencies of the moment may require, in accordance with previously considered arrangements. It is not in the public interest to specify what this action will be.
