HC Deb 02 April 1912 vol 36 c1048
Mr. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Dublin)

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he would state precisely the basis upon which the Grant to Ireland, under the Unemployed Workmen Act, was made?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The Grant to Ireland from the Grant under the Unemployed Workmen Act is, like that to England and Scotland, settled in communication with the Local Government Boards of the three countries respectively, after consideration of the representations of the districts committees as to the extent and causes of the unemployment.
