HC Deb 02 April 1912 vol 36 c1026
Major WHITE

asked the Under Secretary of State for War whether he has yet made further inquiries into the case of Colour-Sergeant Moore, late company instructor at the Royal Hibernian Military School; and whether, in view of the fact that this man was discharged from his post for no offence and that through inability to obtain employment he is now in poverty, he will give an undertaking to provide him with employment at the Duke of York's School, as a War Office messenger, or in some other Government service?

Colonel SEELY

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Colour-Sergeant Moore has obtained a situation in Canada. I have not yet ascertained what the situation is.
