HC Deb 26 October 1911 vol 30 c301
Mr. NEWMAN

asked how many copies of Form IV., as applicable to Ireland, have been issued in that country as on 30th September; how many provisional valuations have been effected; and whether, in view of a recent decision in the High Court, any further issue of Form IV. is contemplated?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

Up to 30th September about 46,000 Forms IV. were issued and 1,000 provisional valuations effected. As regards the last part of the hon. Member's question, I can make no statement, as the question of the validity of Form IV. is still sub judice.

Mr. NEWMAN

Has the site value of one single Irish estate been effected?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I would ask the hon. Member to give me notice of that.

Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

Can the right hon. Gentleman tell us what the real difficulty is about sending out Form IV. in Ireland?

Mr. SPEAKER

That does not arise out of the answer.
