§ Mr. GODFREY LOCKER-LAMPSONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he can say when the names of the Insurance Commissioners will be announced?

Another Commissioner will be chosen from the medical profession, but I am not able to-day to publish his name.
§ Mr. C. BATHURSTWill Sir Robert Morant cease to be Permanent Secretary of the Board of Education?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEI should have thought it was hardly necessary to ask such a question: the task he has undertaken will be a gigantic one.
§ Mr. WILLIAM O'BRIENIs there any chance of our learning the names of the Irish Commissioners?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEI think I answered that question yesterday. I hope to be able to announce them before the Bill leaves the House. I am engaged now in considering the question, but I cannot to-day give any answer on the subject.
§ Mr. W. O'BRIENDoes the hope refer to the Report stage or the Third Reading stage?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEI do not think it makes much difference: I do not know that there will be any interval between the Report stage or the Third Reading, but I cannot promise.
§ Mr. PRINGLErose.
§ Mr. SPEAKERAny further questions should be put down.
