HC Deb 28 November 1911 vol 32 c189
Sir JOHN BARRAN

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it was intended, under the Insurance Bill, that the auxiliary committees to be set up in Scotland should be constituted on the same lines as the chief committees, or whether the various representations on them might be varied at will?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd George)

This is a matter to be determined subject to regulations made by the Insurance Commissioners under a scheme submitted by the main Committee.

Mr. C. E. PRICE

Will there be any women on this committee?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I think so.
