HC Deb 14 November 1911 vol 31 c187
Mr. BOTTOMLEY

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will accept an Amendment to the National Insurance Bill making it one of the conditions of becoming an approved society that such society should not be in any way connected with any existing assurance company which has been convicted of irregularities and frauds in connection with its general business?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

My right hon. Friend does not think it necessary to take the action suggested by the hon. Member.
