§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Runciman)The number of persons ten years of age and upwards who were engaged in agricultural 194 or horticultural occupations in the year 1901 was 1,402,929. I am unable to give corresponding figures for the present year until the returns of occupations obtained by the recent Census are available.
