§ Mr. TENNANTThe paragraph in question applies to officers of the Territorial Force, but the present edition of the Field Service Pocket Book, which has been out of print for some time, is out of date, and would be only misleading for use in the examination. The new edition is in the press, and will shortly be available for purchase.

Gentleman has experienced difficulty in obtaining this book I should be glad if he could inform me of the circumstances, in order that inquiry may be made.
