HC Deb 13 November 1911 vol 31 cc21-2
Mr. RADFORD

asked the Prime Minister whether the right of appointing a rector to the living of Saint Botolph, Bishopsgate, now vacant, is vested in the Crown; and, if so, whether in making the appointment he will see to it that the arrangement under which the former suffragan Bishop of Kensington was appointed rector of Saint Botolph be not repeated?

The PRIME MINISTER

It rests with the Crown to appoint to the vacant living of St. Botolph's, Bishopsgate, and I trust that a rector will be found who will be able to devote his whole time to his parochial duties.
