§ Mr. RADFORDasked the Prime Minister whether the right of appointing a rector to the living of Saint Botolph, Bishopsgate, now vacant, is vested in the Crown; and, if so, whether in making the appointment he will see to it that the arrangement under which the former suffragan Bishop of Kensington was appointed rector of Saint Botolph be not repeated?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIt rests with the Crown to appoint to the vacant living of St. Botolph's, Bishopsgate, and I trust that a rector will be found who will be able to devote his whole time to his parochial duties.
