HC Deb 30 May 1911 vol 26 c909
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the cost of the Committee investigating the financal relations of Great Britain and Ireland will be borne by the Cabinet, for whose sole benefit it is acting; if to be paid out of public money, whether it will be charged against Ireland, which has no effective representation on the Committee; in what Vote, and when, will it be taken; and whether any time will be allowed for discussion of it?

Mr. BIRRELL

Any cost the Committee may incur will be borne on the Vote for Temporary Commissions. It will enjoy such opportunities for discussion as may fall to its lot when that Vote is taken.
