HC Deb 15 May 1911 vol 25 c1628
Mr. CRUMLEY

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has received a memorial signed by a number of representative residents of the postal district of Derryharney, county Fermanagh, with reference to a grievance existing in connection with the postal service there; and whether any, and, if so, what, reply has been sent to the memorial?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I duly received the memorial to which the hon. Member refers, and the memorialists have been informed that as Mr. Armstrong has already been adequately punished for his breach of the Post Office regulations by loss of pay during the period of suspension and an emphatic warning as to the future, and as he has been acquitted on the charge-preferred against him, I do not propose to, take any further action.
