HC Deb 10 May 1911 vol 25 c1187
Mr. FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, if he is granting, or will grant, facilities for the wives and children of the subordinate ranks of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth, and of the subordinate ranks of the sister service in Portsmouth, to witness the forthcoming naval review of that pert?

Mr. McKENNA

Facilities will be given, so far as possible, to the naval and military establishments at Portsmouth to witness the Review, on board some of the port tenders. The allotment must depend on the accommodation available.

Mr. FALLE

Are there not many vessels available on Sundays, and would not the men themselves be very glad to do the work?

Mr. McKENNA

I will consider the question.
