HC Deb 10 May 1911 vol 25 cc1189-90
Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked whether the application of James Bowman, skipper of the boat. "Guide Me," of Pittenweem, for compensation for nets damaged by His Majesty's ships in the Firth of Forth on or about 7th March last, has yet reached him; and whether, seeing that it was handed in to the local authorities and that the nets were examined by the coastguard, he would make inquiry into the matter and have the application duly considered?

Mr. McKENNA

The claim has not yet reached the Admiralty, but inquiry is being made.

Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

Will the right hon. Gentleman consider the case when it reaches the Admiralty?

Mr. McKENNA

I will consider it; certainly.
