Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the hon. Member for Southampton, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether consideration of representations recently made by the Royal Parks Employés' Association was refused; if so, why; and whether the First Commissioner is aware that this association has hither been recognised and its representations considered?
Mr. DUDLEY WARDRepresentations were made recently by the Royal Parks Employés Association on the subject of the want of lodges to park-keepers in the Royal parks, and the association was informed that the First Commissioner would be prepared to consider any com- 33 munication on that or any other subject which reached him from the park-keepers through the usual official channel. This reply was in accordance with the practice which prevails generally throughout the service in dealing with officers who are on the established or pensionable staff, under which category the park-keepers come. The First Commissioner is quite wiling to recognise the association, as heretofore, should it desire to bring to his notice any matter affecting the non-established employés in the Royal parks.
