§ Mr. MITCHELL-THOMSONasked the Home Secretary if he can state how many 6 injunctions have been granted against trade unions as the result of the judgment in the case of Osborne v. the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants; and whether he will grant a Return of all the trade unions proceeded against, for applying their funds for the purposes of representation in Parliament, with the results of the proceedings in each case?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI have made inquiries and find that it will be possible to obtain the information asked for in the first part of the question without much difficulty, and I shall be glad to take steps to do so. I understand, however, that the information asked for in the second part of the question would entail a very long and detailed search, and I think it will be sufficient if I give a return of the trade unions against whom injunctions have been granted.
