§ Mr. ROWLANDSasked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware that Matthew Arnold's Reports on Elementary Schools set for the teacher's certificate examination is out of print and that students have been unable to obtain it for some months; and, if so, whether he will see that arrangements are made so that the studies of the students shall be no longer delayed?
§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Runciman)The answer to the first paragraph of the question is in the affirmative. I am informed by the Stationery Office that every endeavour is being made to secure the issue of the new edition at the earliest possible date. It is hoped that the edition will be ready for issue in the first week of April.
