asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he could state what has in the past been the average weekly consumption of halfpenny and penny postage stamps, in reams?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

Four hundred reams of each.

Mr. TOUCHE

It appears that the delivery of penny and halfpenny postage stamps under the new contract amounted in nine weeks up to 8th March——
