HC Deb 20 March 1911 vol 23 c6
Mr. FELL

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he had received any information from His Majesty's Minister in Mexico relating to the disturbances and risings in that country; and if he has assurances that the safety of British subjects there is not affected?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

His Majesty's Representative in Mexico has reported on the disturbances in that country. I would refer the hon. Member to the answers given to the questions of the hon. Members for Mid-Armagh and South-West Lanarkshire on the 13th and 14th instant, as regards the safety of British subjects.

Mr. FELL

May I ask if there is no later information than is conveyed in those answers?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

There is no information which adds anything to those answers.

Earl WINTERTON

Having regard to the fact that many things have happened since the 13th and 14th, will the hon. Gentleman answer the latter part of the question?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I have answered the latter part twice.
