Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether any financial assistance was given by the Treasury to the Lancashire and Western Sea Fisheries Joint Committee during the years 1909 and 1910; and, if not, whether, in view of the work done by this committee, he can now make it a grant?
§ Mr. HOBHOUSENo financial assistance was given to the Lancashire and Western Sea Fisheries Joint Committee during the years specified. The committee have made an application to the Treasury for an advance from the Development Fund, and that application is now under consideration by the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries.
