HC Deb 15 March 1911 vol 22 cc2227-8
Mr. RENDALL

asked whether the Secretary to the Treasury will state in what particular respects the duties of the senior established clerks in second-class surveys are more important than those performed by the senior unestablished clerks in third-class surveys; whether the former are required to perform duties that are not allotted to the latter; and, if so, what those duties are?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I have nothing to add to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to the hon. Member for the St. Pancras Division of Middlesex on the 7th instant.
