HC Deb 15 March 1911 vol 22 cc2215-6
Mr. FITZROY

asked the President of the Board of Education whether, when any rural school is closed because of the master being employed in assisting to take the Census, such closing shall not prejudice the grant based on attendance in such school?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Trevelyan)

I shall be prepared, as usual, to consider, on its merits, any application made to me by a Local Education Authority.
