§ Colonel BURNasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he has received reports of the damage done to the nets and gear of the fishermen who pursue their calling in Torbay by His Majesty's battleships when manœuvring there, as considerable loss to the fishermen has been occasioned by the battleships driving through the drift nets during the night; and will he order that a warning shall be sent beforehand to the fishermen when it is proposed that the fleet shall enter Torbay?
§ Mr. McKENNANo cases of the damage referred to in the hon. and gallant Member's question have been reported to the Admiralty since November last. The Admiralty are in communication with the Commander-in-Chief in regard to the suggestion made in the last part of the question.
