HC Deb 07 March 1911 vol 22 cc1029-30
Earl WINTERTON

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is yet in a position to give any information as to the whereabouts of David Davies; and what progress has been made by the police in discovering the person or persons reputed to have enticed Davies away?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I must refer the Noble Lord to my answer to the hon. Member for Denbigh Boroughs on Thursday last.

Viscount CASTLEREAGH

Is it the fact that David Davies has eluded the vigilance of the right hon. Gentleman and the police officers?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I must refer the Noble Lord to the answer which I gave the hon. Member for Denbigh Boroughs on Thursday last.

Mr. ASHLEY

Have there been any reports made since the last answer was given?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I have nothing to add.

Mr. W. A. REDMOND

Is it not the fact that David Davies may be in the company of Davy Jones?

Viscount HELMSLEY

Will the right hon. Gentleman undertake to inform the House when David Davies has been located?

Mr. CHURCHILL

Yes, I certainly will without a moment's delay.
