HC Deb 02 March 1911 vol 22 c541
Mr. SHEEHAN

asked the Chief Secretary whether he is in a position to state when the Second Reading of the Bill for providing the additional million under the Labourers (Ireland) Acts will be taken; and whether reasonable opportunities will be afforded for a Debate on the general principles of the measure?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Second Reading of the Bill will be taken at the first opportunity, and as I am not aware that general principles of the Bill are at all controversial I trust that the Second Reading will not be further opposed, and that it may go upstairs to be discussed.
